Let's Play Magic - PERTH

Let's Play Games and Wizards of the Coast return to Perth for a great weekend of Magic fun.

This event coincides with the release of the Magic: The Gathering® | Marvel Super Heroes so grab your cape and shield and get ready to Assemble!

• Compete for qualifications at the Regional Championships.

The event is being held in the Bellevue Ballroom 2 on Level 3 of the Perth Convention Centre. Online Ticket Sales will close at 6pm Friday 26th June. From there tickets will be on sale on the day, first in best dressed!

Supanova

This event is not connected with the Supanova event running at the same venue on the same weekend. It's a separate event

Cash or Card?

This event is cashless. We will not be accepting cash at the event for Entry fees. Vendors may accept cash.

Do I need a badge to enter?

You don't need a badge to enter but you do need one to play. Either by purchasing one of the event tickets or a CommandZone pass to play Commander at the venue.

Badge Collection

If you have purchased a CommandZone Day Pass or Weekend Pass. There will be a table at the entry where we will mark your name off and give you your badge and lanyard and Game Tokens, please wear the badge while you are in the Command Zone area.

On Demand Mystery Booster 2 Draft Events

We have secured some additional Mystery Booster 2 stock so that we can run on demand Booster drafts.

Entry Fee: $45

Start time: From 11am until 2pm each day.

Format: Booster Draft - each player will receive 3 boosters of MB2 to draft with.

Prizes: 3 wins = 40 Prize Tickets, 2 wins = 20 Prize Tickets, 1 win = 10 Prize Tickets

How Do Game Tokens and Prize Tickets Work?

Game Tokens

Game Tokens are included with selected event passes and can also be purchased at Registration for $15 each.

Game Tokens can be redeemed in any of the following ways:

• Receive a $15 discount on the entry fee of a side event when registering onsite.
• Redeem with a Judge after playing in a Commander Pod to receive 20 Prize Tickets.
• Exchange at the Prize Wall for one Play Booster.

Game Tokens provide flexibility, allowing players to choose how they wish to participate throughout the weekend. Commander players can also earn Prize Tickets without needing to enter competitive side events or win matches.

Prize Tickets

Prize Tickets are awarded throughout the weekend for participating in events, winning matches, and playing Commander.

Each event will list its specific Prize Ticket payout structure, which may include rewards for:

• Match wins
• Final placings
• Commander participation

Prize Tickets are issued in the following values:

• 10
• 20
• 50
• 100

The Prize Wall

Prize Tickets can be redeemed at the Prize Wall for a wide variety of products, including:

• Current and past Magic: The Gathering booster products
• Playmats
• Secret Lair products
• Complete Magic sets
• Exclusive event items
• Other collectibles and accessories

As a general guide:

10 Prize Tickets ≈ 1 Play Booster (approximately $10 value)

Some premium items may have different redemption rates. All Prize Wall items will have clearly displayed ticket costs.

EventLink

EventLink is the Wizards of the Coast tournament management software used to run all sanctioned side events during the weekend.

To participate in any sanctioned event, you must have a Wizards Account.

Magic: The Gathering Companion App

We strongly recommend downloading the MTG Companion App before attending the event.

The Companion App allows you to:

• View your event registrations
• Receive pairings and round information
• Report results
• Stay updated throughout the event

If you are successfully registered for an event, it will appear within the Companion App.

If you cannot see an event, you believe you are registered for, please speak with a Judge or visit the Scorekeeper Desk for assistance.
